Transportation To/From Ben Gurion International Airport

Ben-Gurion International Airport is Israel’s main international airport and is located 18 km (~11 miles) southeast of Tel Aviv.

Pre-reserved arrival/departure airport transfers operated by Diesenhaus-Unitours
This is a shared direct transfer service offered to symposium participants, from the airport to your hotel in Tel-Aviv and return. Possible wait - up to 1 hour.  A Diesenhaus Unitours representative will meet you upon arrival inside the Arrivals Hall, after you go through passport control. He will be holding a sign "EuroCarb17". 

Arrival and departure transfers should be reserved on the Symposium Registration & Accommodation Form. Full arrival/departure details must be provided in advance.
Price: US$25 (~€19) per person per transfer (arrival or departure).

Taxis          
Taxis are freely available outside the airport terminal. Fares to Tel-Aviv
are approx. NIS140 (~$36 /~€28). A 25% surcharge for night trips is in effect from 21:01 until 05:29 and from 14:00 on Fridays.

Train from airport – to Tel-Aviv
(NIS 14 = ~$3.60/ ~€2.80).

The train station is located on Level S (the lowest floor) and can be accessed from Greeters Hall via elevators, escalators or stairs. Tickets may be purchased from automatic machines located on Level G.
Get-off at the Tel-Aviv Center (Savidor-Arlozorov) Station.
From there, take a taxi to your hotel (approx. NIS 35 = ~$9 / ~€7).
Taxis are available at the exit of the train station.

Please note that public transportation (trains & busses) do  not operate from Friday afternoon until Saturday evening.  Taxis are available 24/7.
